Thoughts about map

The textbook company omitted the details from the map because they must have not thought that they were important enough to include. In addition, added details could have made the map more crowded and harder to read. Also, putting more details into a map could have cost the company more money. When the details that had been omitted were added to the map, the map did indeed become more cluttered and harder to read. On the other hand, it gave much more information about the regions. Instead of a mere dot for Axum, the expansions and declines through different time periods were shown. Additionally, specific trade products are shown and where the products are coming from and going to.
